Leaving
Singapore on our 1st and only military flight to Diego Garcia, but
not on this plane |

We
left our hotel at 4:45am for an 8am flight to Diego Garcia, took off,
turned around because of autopilot problems, landed back in Singapore,
waited in vain for the plane to get fixed, got bumped on a flight
leaving at 5:30pm, which didn't leave til 8:30 because of the weather,
then took the 5 and a half hour flight to Diego. All in all, roughly
24 hrs in limbo...and it's not an airport, it's a room. ROUGH. |
